Francine H. Einstein, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Francine H. Einstein, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.Dr. Einstein is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health (Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine) and Medicine (Endocrinology) at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. She earned her medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She then completed a residency in OB/GYN at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Einstein. As a practicing physician, she cares for pregnant women at high-risk for maternal and fetal complications. She is particularly interested in using ultrasound to diagnose congenital malformations, genetic abnormalities and fetal growth problems. In addition, she is dedicated to epigenetic research – understanding the effects of the environment on the performance of human genes. Medical scientists believe that epigenetics is on the frontier of our understanding of health and disease. Dr Einstein’s epigenetic research is aimed at learning how conditions in the womb can lead to increased risk of disease for the unborn child later in life.

Anne Wokcicki

Anne WojcickiAnne Wokcicki co-founded 23andMe in 2006 after a decade spent in healthcare investing, focused primarily on biotechnology companies. 23andMe has become the leading personal genetics company dedicated to helping individuals understand their own genetic information through DNA analysis technologies and web-based interactive tools. In establishing 23andMe, Anne’s vision was to empower consumers with access to their own genetic information and to create a way to generate more personalized information so that commercial and academic researchers could better understand and develop new drugs and diagnostics. 23andMe has built one of the world’s largest databases of individual genetic information. Under Anne’s leadership, 23andMe has made significant advances in bringing personalized medicine directly to the public. Anne graduated from Yale University with a BS in Biology. Getting access to and understanding her own genetic information had always been one of her ambitions. In February 2013, she and her husband, Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google, along with Facebook Chairman and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and venture capitalist Yuri Milner, announced that they are funding annual $3 million Breakthrough Prizes in Life Sciences, to be awarded each year to scientists working to cure complex diseases. In the award’s first year, 11 scientists each received $3 Million Breakthrough Prizes in Life Sciences.

Liz Lange

Liz LangeLiz Lange changed the face of maternity fashion forever, launching her line in 1997 and became the brand celebrity moms just had to wear. She went from there to developing a line of maternity active wear for Nike, the maternity line for Target and authoring a book on pregnancy style, Liz Lange's Maternity Style: How to Look Fabulous During the Most Fashion-Challenged Time. Liz sold the original company and has since launched a non-maternity collection, Completely Me by Liz Lange, with HSN in the U.S. and The Shopping Channel in Canada. In addition, she runs the fun shopping site, Shopafrolic, she co-founded with sister Jane Wagman.

Lange is actively involved in many charities and is a spokesperson for cervical cancer awareness. Most recently she has partnered with Jhpiego, a global health non-profit dedicated to improving the health of women and families in developing countries, to raise awareness of maternal and child health issues.

Lange lives in Manhattan with her 14-year-old son Gus and her 12-year-old daughter Alice.
