The Global Health Club provides a forum through which Einstein students can cultivate their global health interests through education and activism. GHC events are set yearly by student board members, allowing activities to reflect the priorities of current students. In general, however, the GHC seeks to provide opportunities for education on global health topics; to assist students as they prepare for and return from global health projects; to engage in activism, including fundraising for small GH organizations which have hosted Einstein students; and to connect students with global health faculty at Einstein. The GHC also collaborates with other like-minded clubs at Einstein via the Einstein Umbrella to raise issues of health and social justice in the wider Einstein community through AIDS Week in the fall and a second themed week in the spring (topic chosen yearly).
