Personality Tests and Career Choice (excerpt)

First-year medical students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine participate in team-building exercises and are given Myers-Briggs personality tests. Drs. Nadine Katz and Stephen Baum discuss how these activities help students make better career choices and prepare them for the practice of medicine. Dr. Baum, senior associate dean for students, and Dr. Katz, senior associate dean for student academic affairs, are interviewed by Gordon Earle, associate dean of communications and public affairs. Watch full interview. (Please note that as of October 29, 2012, Dr. Katz is medical director of Jack D. Weiler Hospital, part of Montefiore Medical Center.) (October 26, 2012)
