Research and quality improvement efforts at ECHO are
designed to improve patient care, monitor clinic progress, and inform new ideas
and initiatives. Einstein students from a wide variety of backgrounds and
research interests have developed projects at the clinic, often resulting in
presentations at national conferences and even publications.
Each year, ECHO
volunteers also produce an annual report summarizing the current and future
goals of the clinic, while also describing the clinic’s administrative
organization, patient population, and relevant findings from research conducted
at the clinic within the past year. Past poster presentations, publications,
and annual reports are included below.
We hope that compiling
and sharing this information will enable future clinic-improvement projects and
foster communication between ECHO and other student-run free clinics. Ultimately,
all of these efforts are aimed to help ECHO better care for its patients.
