FAMILY DAY WINTER CARNIVAL
Treat your kids while you support vital research
_______________________________________________________________
The National Women’s Division-Westchester/Fairfield Chapter of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University is holding its sixth annual Family Day Winter Carnival. The event will be held Sunday, February 12, 1-4 pm at Life – The Place To Be family entertainment center, 2 Lawrence Street in Ardsley.
Winter Carnival is a fun-filled day for children ranging from tots to tweens. There is plenty for their parents to do as well. Activities will include rock wall climbing, carnival games, video arcade, arts & crafts, laser tag, face painting, jugglers and a “glamour center.” There will be performances by the “Hoop Wizard,” games and contests with the DJ, and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will support women’s health research at the renowned Albert Einstein Cancer Center, specifically studying breast, ovarian, cervical and uterine cancers.
The cost, $95 per adult and $50 per child includes a family-friendly buffet and refreshments. Children under 2 are free.
Under the direction of Tara Stein, president of the Westchester/Fairfield chapter, the Winter Carnival is organized by co-chairs Julie Kaiden, Liza Levy, Sandy Newman, Allison Starr and Tara Stein. The event is proudly sponsored by Kessler Liquors, Platinum Realty, Master Cosmo's Martial Arts, Blake's Plate Catering & Private Chef Services, SPARK GROUP – An Event Company and All Good Things.
