Hormone Assay

Services

• Insulin - Insulin levels can measured by RIA, ELISA and Luminex methodologies following consultation with the Core director

• C-Peptide - Human or mouse levels are measures by RIA (Linco)

• Glucagon - Plasma glucagon is measured using a RIA kit (Linco) and Luminex technology

• Adiponectin - Assay developed in collaboration with Linco. Kits for RIA and reagents for determination by Luminex are now available

• Human, Rat Leptin - measured by RIA (Linco)

• Epinephrine and Norepinephrine - measured by a recently developed ELISA

• Human Growth Hormone (GH)- assay is performed by ELISA kits (Alpco)

• Plasma Cortisol- Assay is performed by ELISA (Alpco)

• Resistin - measured by RIA or Luminex (Linco) and is available for human, rat or mouse

• Cyclic AMP - Cyclic AMP levels in biological samples and cAMP bound to its receptor proteins (protein kinase A isoforms) are determined by RIA
