Job Title:

Postdoctoral Position in Institute for Onco-Physics, Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Job Description:

A postdoctoral fellowship is available immediately in Institute for Onco-Physics to study mechanisms of radiation injuries in mouse model. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a highly innovative environment with interdisciplinary scientists. Current projects in our lab include developing (i) clinically relevant radiation injury models, (ii) regenerative strategies for mitigation of radiation injuries, and (iii) developing non-invasive biomarkers for systemic and local toxicity assessment. The postdoc will use various approaches such as flow cytometry, confocal imaging, lineage tracing, ELISA, metabolomics, SCPECT CT, and MRI to measure organ dysfunction in response to radiation.

Candidate must have a Ph.D. or MD/PhD in Cell biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pharmacology or Biophysics and is expected to be able to work well in a team as well as independently. Hands-on experience in animal models, stem cell biology, fluorescence microscopy techniques, and basic cell and molecular biology techniques is highly desired. Successful candidate should exhibit strong motivation, productivity and publication record.

Interested candidates should send CV, one-page research interest statement, and three references to the email address below:
