Postdoctoral Position to Study the Biochemistry of HIV-1 Uncoating
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoc for a research project to study the biochemistry of HIV-1 uncoating. Our research focuses on understanding the mechanism by which the rhesus macaque protein TRIM5alpha and the owl monkey protein TRIMCyp accelerate the uncoating of HIV-1. This position is for 3 years, and the lab space is located on the 5th floor of the Price Center at Einstein in New York.
Requirements: PhD/MD degree, 2 years of postdoctoral experience is preferred. Applicants should have experience in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology.
