The Philadelphia Inquirer features new research by Sylvia Wassertheil-Smoller, Ph.D., that found high triglycerides levels were a risk factor for stroke in postmenopausal women while cholesterol was not. Dr. Wassertheil-Smoller is head of the division of epidemiology and principle investigator of the Women’s Health Initiative at Einstein.
