The Neurology Residency Program of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) offers its participants a wide range of opportunities for both clinical and scientific training. The program includes required rotations through the services of three major academic medical centers (Montefiore, Jacobi and Einstein). There are electives in all the major subspecialties.

In addition, residents are encouraged to work with faculty in individually designed elective programs which have basic science, clinical research or patient care components. The Department has strong subspecialty clinical and research activities and/or postgraduate fellowships in the following areas:

The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals are the major health resource in the Bronx. Neurology residents spend all of their required rotations at the Bronx campuses.  We serve more than one million residents of the borough and provide tertiary care for the tri-state region comprising the greater New York metropolitan area.

The Einstein/Montefiore complex is geographically divided into two major sites - the East campus and the West campus. These sites, in the Northeast Bronx, are ten minutes apart and linked by a shuttle bus that runs frequently throughout the day. The East campus includes the College of Medicine, Einstein Hospital, and the Jacobi Medical Center (JMC). The West campus includes the Moses Division of MMC, a major voluntary teaching site.

The program may occasionally offer observant residency slots inappropriate cases.
