Established in 2004 to build clinical research activity; research funding; and an administrative home for educators, hospitalists, and researchers, the Einstein/Montefiore Division of General Internal Medicine currently boasts renowned research activity, an award-winning mentorship network and a research budget doubled by extramural grants.
