CTSA Consortium
The CTSA consortium, a group of medical research institutions working together to improve the way biomedical research is conducted across the country, is funded by the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), a division of the National Institute of Health (NIH). The consortium shares a common vision to improve patient treatment by reducing the time it takes for laboratory discoveries and to engage communities in clinical research efforts. It is focusing on the crucial step of training the next generation of clinical researcher. To learn more about the CTSA consortium, please visit the CTSA home page.
When fully implemented by 2012, 60 institutions will form the consortium. For a complete list of institutions please click here.
