1.    Solicit or obtain typeset manuscript from Editorial Assistant or Student Editor as appropriate.

2.    Edit revised manuscript for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style according to the Instructions for Authors (Appendix I) and the Chicago Manual of Style or the Council of Biology Editors Manual (allow one week).

3.     Associate Editor or Faculty Editor will meet with Student Editor (if necessary) and provide feedback with respect to editorial skills that summarizes comments of both the Associate Editor and the Faculty Editor.

4.    Send edited manuscript to Editorial Assistant or Student Editor as appropriate.

5.    Confirm receipt of edited manuscript with Editorial Assistant or Student Editor as appropriate.
