UJA-Federation of New York's Montefiore Medical Center & Albert Einstein College of Medicine Division honored Dr. Laurie Jacobs, professor and vice chair of medicine at Einstein and Montefiore, at its annual reception, held this year at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Victor Schuster, professor and chair of medicine at Montefiore and Einstein, presented Dr. Jacobs with her award, which recognized her scientific achievements and passionate commitment to improving the lives of the elderly.
Dr. Jacobs is a geriatrician overseeing Montefiore's clinical programs in internal medicine and its sub-specialties, who has received numerous awards for her contributions in medical education focusing on the care of older adults.
