Appreciating Einstein Postdocs

On September 20, 2012, the Belfer Institute for Advanced Biomedical Studies held a special reception in the Glass Café for Einstein's postdocs, marking Einstein’s fourth annual Postdoc Appreciation Day.

At institutions worldwide, postdocs make sure that the day-to-day activities of the laboratory are carried out toward achieving the lab's mission. At Einstein, 352 postdocs from around the world take on this critical role.

"While we should appreciate postdocs every day, it's nice to have a special day each year when we can informally acknowledge our gratitude for their contributions in the labs," said Dr. Jonathan Backer, director of the Belfer Institute.
