Dr. Penny Steiner-Grossman is Associate Professor of Family and Social Medicine and a former Assistant Dean in the Office of Medical Education. She recently played a major role in Einstein’s self-study process for re-accreditation by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and will assist in the College’s efforts to secure accreditation by the Middle States Association. Currently, her major responsibilities include the mentoring of Einstein faculty in preparing for academic promotion and providing editorial assistance to the Office of Student Affairs.
In addition to her administrative and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Steiner-Grossman has written extensively on the experience of illness, with the aim of using clear language to help patients and their providers understand chronic medical conditions.
