Professional Interests

Yonatan I. Fishman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology. He currently does research in the Laboratory for Behavioral Neurophysiology investigating neural mechanisms of pitch perception and auditory scene analysis in primate auditory cortex. Parallel interests include translational research involving human clinical populations aimed at bridging explanatory and methodological gaps between neurophysiology of complex sound processing and auditory scene analysis in animal models and humans.
