Professional Interests

Dr. Marcus Bachhuber completed his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine followed by residency and chief residency at the Montefiore Einstein Primary Care/Social Internal Medicine Residency Program. He completed a fellowship with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the University of Pennsylvania where he also obtained a Masters of Science in Health Policy Research.

In addition to being a primary care provider, Dr. Bachhuber conducts research focusing on health system and policy approaches to addressing prescription drug misuse.
