Dr. Amanda Zayde is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Child Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Montefiore Medical Center Wakefield Division where she specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents. Dr. Zayde received her Psy.D. from the George Washington University and completed her internship and postdoctoral training at the Yale School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical and research interest include mentalization-based parenting interventions, developmental psychopathology and attachment theory, and the intergenerational transmission of trauma. Dr. Zayde is currently on the executive committee of the Emerging Adulthood Special Interest Group of Division 53 of the American Psychological Association.
