Professional Interests

Dr. Kristi Lewis Glotzbach is a pediatric cardiologist who specializes in cardiac intensive care. Her professional time is shared between clinical medicine and research.   She is an attending physician in the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.  As a clinician, she cares for the critically ill children with acquired and congenital heart disease.  Her research interests include quality of life in children with cardiomyopathy and congenital heart disease,  post operative pain control, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).  Her current projects include a clinical study of the quality of life in pediatric cardiomyopathy as well as investigating the clinical outcomes for single ventricle patients on ECMO.
