Professional Interests

Dr. Alyssa Lettich is an Attending Physician in the Department of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care Headache Program at Beth Israel Medical Center, a joint activity of the Departments of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care and Neurology. Dr. Lettich is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Diplomate in Headache Medicine through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. Dr. Lettich earned a bilingual medical degree at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico. She completed a medicine internship at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed a neurology residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident. She did a fellowship in Headache Medicine at the Montefiore Headache Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Lettich is an active member of the American Headache Society, the International Headache Society, and the American Academy of Neurology. She is the United States representative for the Trainees and Residents Subcommittee of the International Headache Society. She has been the recipient of several awards including the Clinical Headache Fellowship Award from the American Headache Society and the Scottsdale Headache Symposium Scholarship Award for clinical research.
