Professional Interests

Dr. Danit Arad is the director of the Moses Teaching Hospitalist Program and an assistant firm leader for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. She received her MD degree from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. After completion of Internal Medicine residency training at Montefiore Medical Center, she joined the faculty as a teaching hospitalist. In 2010 she was invited to direct the Moses site of Medicine subinternship, and served in this position till 2014.  Dr. Arad has taught in Einstein’s Introduction to Clinical Medicine course, including The Patient Interview, Physical Diagnosis, and Clinical Case Conferences. She has mentored house staff in their presentations of vignette posters at SGIM meetings and has been a regular lecturer in Montefiore Ambulatory Care Rotations series for house staff. Her research interests focus on innovations in medical education; in particular, the promotion of professionalism and humanity and the development of residents as teachers.
