Julie Kazimiroff, D.D.S.

Dr. Kazimiroff has special expertise in the areas of dental materials and bone physiology.  Her current projects include the development of novel osseointegrated devices, implants, tissue regeneration, synthetic hydroxyapatites, bone regeneration and aging.  She is investigating biomineralization at the gene, cell and tissue level.  She has conducted clinical trials of new dental products at major university centers in the US and abroad.  She is a practicing dentist and holds an advanced degree in dental materials science and an undergraduate degree in biology.  She received her professional training and her materials science degree at New York University.  She has postgraduate training in microbiology and infection control.  She has extensive experience as an educator at the high school, college and university level and has graduate training in education.
