Dr. Katherine J. Mitchell
 

Professional Interests

Dr. Mitchell is Attending Psychologist at the Substance Abuse Treatment Program at Montefiore Medical Center.  Her approach to treatment is integrative, incorporating psychodynamic, modern analytic, interpersonal, cognitive, and mindfulness modalities.  She has specialized training in both individual and group psychotherapy with a range of psychological disorders including addiction, personality disorders, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD.  She also has a private practice in the Flatiron district of Manhattan.
