Availability of Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report to Prospective Employees and Students

Yeshiva University prepares an annual security report which is available to all current and prospective employees and students. This report is required by federal law to be published by October 1st of every year and contains policy statements and crime statistics for the University. The policy statements address the school’s policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security. Three years’ worth of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the school and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus. This report is available online for the Manhattan campuses and the Bronx campus. You may also request a paper copy from the Security Department office on the applicable campus.

As required by law, the University also annually prepares a fire safety report by October 1st of every year containing statistics regarding fires that have occurred within campus housing over the past three years, information about fire safety devices installed in campus housing, and information about the University's fire safety policies. This report is available online for the Manhattan campuses and the Bronx campus. You may also request a paper copy from the above-referenced Security Department offices (for the Manhattan campuses) and from the Fire Safety Officer at 718.430.2031 (for the Bronx campus).
