Student Opportunities for Academic Research (SOAR)

Application Process

Discuss project ideas with concentration director(s) before applying.
Up to 20 applicants will be accepted from the Class of 2016.
All entering Einstein students are eligible to apply. Our goal is to have a distribution that includes students in each of the concentrations. Applications should reflect a student’s own thoughts and ideas and be wholly written by the student. It is strongly advised that applicants meet with their chosen concentration director prior to applying.

Students will apply to a particular SOAR concentration. Interdisciplinary projects are encouraged and may involve one or two concentration areas.
Email completed applications to Asmara Tesfaye Rogoza by December 1, 2012.
Students will be notified of acceptance into SOAR January 15, 2013.
