Overview

Welcome to the Office of Faculty Development, a unit of the Office of Medical Education. We offer a comprehensive program of free-standing workshops, workshop series, and full-day seminars designed to assist faculty in improving their educational and professional skills and furthering their academic careers. 


Our Mission  

The mission of the Office of Faculty Development is to to improve faculty members’ knowledge and skills in areas relevant to their faculty positions and prepare them for their various roles in education and research.  

Our Vision  

Our overall vision is to serve the professional and career development needs of faculty at all levels of the academician lifecycle (new recruit, junior, mid-career and senior). Our goal is to align university resources around faculty recruitment, retention, diversity and development. 


The Office of Faculty Development is always looking for ways to improve our programs. Feedback is critical to us since we update programs based on participants’ comments. We welcome you to contact us with feedback and suggestions.
