The Program for Early and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (PEARL)

Research

The Williams Laboratory is focused on understanding the mechanisms by which germ cells (sperm and egg) and early embryos protect themselves and their genetic material from damage and the role of a newly discovered class of small RNA molecules, piRNA. Our studies utilize molecular and cell biology, animal models and clinical research with the goal of developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for patient suffering from recurrent miscarriage.

Patients interested in learning more about ongoing clinical trials are encouraged to contact Christine Langlois, Senior Research Assistant at: chrstnlanglois@gmail.com

Postdoctoral and graduate student positions are presently available for highly qualified candidates. Those interested should contact Dr. Zev Williams directly at: zev.williams@einstein.yu.edu.
