The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health

About our Residency Program

Our Sites

Our Hospitals include: Montefiore Medical Center a voluntary hospital serving a diverse range of patients and consisting of our Moses, Weiler and North divisions, and Jacobi Medical Center a large New York City public hospital across the street from our Weiler site.

In each of these institutions, the clinical services are divided into obstetrics, gynecology, ambulatory obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology / reconstructive pelvic surgery and reproductive genetics. Each are well supported by full time attending staff with professional ability, enthusiasm, dedication and responsibility for the educational process.

Where in NYC Are We?

The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is situated in the northeast Bronx, a borough of New York City. This varied and unique area represents a patient base with a mix of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. The overall educational experience covers a diversity of pathology and clinical experience in the breadth and depth of obstetrics, gynecology and its subspecialties.

Rotations By Year

The educational program sharply defines the progressive responsibility of the residents who assume an increasing degree of independence in the clinical aspects of the discipline.
