2012 Resident/Fellow Research Symposium Winners Announced

2012 Research Symposium Highlights (3:37)

The very successful 2012 Department of Medicine Resident/Fellow Research Symposium was held Wednesday, May 23. Forty posters were presented by members of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and 21 posters were presented by fellows.

Resident and fellow posters were judged separately, and the winners and honorable mentions are listed below. Cash prizes ($400 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place, and $200 for 3rd place) were provided by Dr. James Scheuer, University Chairman of Medicine Emeritus.

"We are indebted to Dr. Scheuer for his support," said Dr. Victor Schuster, Chairman of the Department of Medicine. "I also thank Dr. Bettina Fries and Anna Manca for all their work in making this year's Symposium a success."
