Objectives

After attending this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand risk factors for osteoporosis
  2. Learn the appropriate interpretation for bone density exams for pre and postmenopausal women and men
  3. Become familiar with lifestyle and medications used to prevent and treat osteoporosis
