Metzger Wins IDSNY Best Abstract Award
Brian Metzger, an Einstein-Montefiore Infectious Diseases fellow, was one of the two winners selected for the best fellows' abstract at the annual meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of New York April 27th, 2009.
Metzger received the award for his presentation entitled "Comparison of the GeneOhm PCR and the Meridian Premier Toxin Assay for the Detection of C. difficile in Stool Specimens."
