Objectives:

  1. Understand current theories on potential causes for idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy
  2. Understand the current indications for endomyocardial biopsy and cardiac MRI in the diagnostic evaluation of dilated cardiomyopathy
  3. Understand contemporary treatment of idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy, including the role of immunosuppressive therapy
