Dr. Harold D. Keiser has been selected to receive an American College of Rheumatology (ACR) “Master” award at the national meeting in late October 2013.
In years of clinical practice, Dr. Keiser has acquired experience over the broad range of problems referred to rheumatologists. He takes special interest in the diagnosis and management of connective tissue disorders, gout, and the spondyloarthropathies.
Recognition as an ACR Master is "one of the highest honors the College bestows." Members who receive this designation "have made outstanding contributions to the field of rheumatology through scholarly achievement and/or service to their patients, students, and profession. This honor is usually bestowed upon no more than 15 members per year." (acr.org)
"All members of our Division, past and present, are well aware of Harold’s many contributions and achievements over the years in clinical practice, research, and teaching, and I am very pleased that these accomplishments are now also being recognized at the national level by the ACR," said Dr. Chaim Putterman, Chief of the Division of Rheumatology.
