Professional Interests

Dr. Yelena Drexler’s clinical and research interests include the diagnosis and management of resistant hypertension and glomerular disease. She has co-authored a number of articles on the identification and treatment of resistant hypertension and the role of aldosterone blockade in patients with chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease.

Dr. Drexler completed her medical degree at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in nephrology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center.

Dr. Drexler is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in nephrology, and has been certified as a clinical hypertension specialist by the American Society of Hypertension.
