The Einstein-Montefiore Division of Nephrology has a distinguished history of research, clinical care, and prominence in American academic nephrology. As members of an exciting place to train, work, and learn, we strive to enhance that tradition.
Our Nephrology Fellowship Program is central to this goal, attracting excellent candidates and providing first-rate clinical training spanning the breadth of the nephrology specialty. Fellows actively participate actively in our leading-edge nephrology research activity, including both high quality clinical investigation and more basic studies.
The Einstein-Montefiore Nephrology Division's NIH designation as one of only 8 George O’Brien Kidney Center nationwide is evidence to our research quality. The broad range of diseases and large number of patients we see attests to our role as a major care provider to the Bronx community, and provides a rich resource for our division's leading-edge training and innovative translational research.
