Dr. Yi Guo is the Clinical Pharmacy Manager of Infectious Diseases at Montefiore Medical Center, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Albert
Einstein College of Medicine. She is one of the key members and great asset to Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
Dr Guo received a Doctor of Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo. She completed an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, New York and an ASHP-accredited specialty residency in Infectious Diseases at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the Bronx.
Dr. Guo has several publications and abstracts on antimicrobial stewardship (antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial utilization/evaluation, antiretroviral prescribing errors-promoting medication safety) that have been presented at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Annual Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America Annual Scientific meetings. She is a member of several professional organizations and is currently the President and delegate to the New York City Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Additionally, she is currently the co-chair of the GNYHA Services Antimicrobial Stewardship forum.
