Barry S. Zingman, M.D.
Dr. Zingman has been the Medical Director of the Montefiore AIDS Center since 2003. He was Medical Director for the Center for Positive Living/Infectious Diseases Clinic from 1998 to 2004. Dr. Zingman has been principal investigator on numerous HIV clinical trials. His active research is in new HIV therapies and basic science HIV research. Dr. Zingman is chair of the New York State Department of Health HIV Medical Guidelines Committee, and vice chair of the New York State HIV Quality of Care Advisory Committee.
Peter Alpert, M.D.
Dr. Alpert concentrates on HIV care, and gives frequent community lectures about care and new treatments for HIV.
Mahalia S. Desruisseaux, M.D.
Dr. Desruisseaux is an HIV expert who performs research into parasitic infections.
Neel Gandhi, M.D.
Dr. Gandhi conducts research studies in extensively drug resistant tuberculosis in HIV-positive patients in South Africa.
Robert Grossberg, M.D.
Dr. Grossberg is Medical Director of the Montefiore Center for Positive Living/Infectious Diseases Clinic. His research focuses on adherence to HIV medications and the diagnosis of tuberculosis in HIV-infected patients.
Lawrence Hanau, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Hanau is an HIV expert involved in the nationwide HIV Research Network.
Marla Keller, M.D.
Dr. Keller directs a clinical research program that focuses on the preclinical and clinical development of topical vaginal microbicides to prevent HIV and herpes simplex virus.
Grace Minamoto, M.D.
Dr. Minamoto is Medical Director of Montefiore's inpatient HIV team. Her research focuses on infections in HIV-infected and other compromised hosts.
Victoria Muggia, M.D.
Dr. Muggia, an HIV expert, studies transplant infectious diseases, with a focus on infections in solid organ and bone marrow transplant recipients.
Paul Riska, M.D.
Dr. Riska, an HIV expert, researches clostridium difficile and tuberculosis infections.
Sarita Shah, M.D.
Dr. Shah is an HIV expert involved with extensively drug resistant tuberculosis in HIV-positive patients in South Africa.

Dr. Shuter is an HIV expert involved in studies of HIV and smoking and of adherence to HIV medication.
