Division of Infectious Diseases

Grand Rounds is the weekly conference at which all divisional faculty and fellows convene to hear cases, lectures by visiting professors, research seminars, journal club presentations, and presentations from faculty members. 

1.5 hours of Continuing Medical Education credit is available to those who submit the CME form and attend this conference. 

Infectious Disease attendings, fellows, and residents and medical students on the ID elective are expected to attend.

Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Designated as Center of Excellence by IDSA
The Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) at Montefiore, led by medical director Priya Nori, MD, has been designated as a Center for Excellence by The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). It is among 25 academic sites in the nation – and one of few in New York City, to receive this prestigious recognition, which was announced on August 15, 2018.
