The Montefiore Center for Aging & Independence offers outstanding primary and consultative care for older adults, with geriatricians available for your medical care needs.

Conditions We Treat
Comprehensive care of older adults including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart conditions, arthritis, emphysema, diabetes, falls, balance problems, osteoporosis, urinary incontinence, sleep disturbances, memory loss, depression, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, changes in function impacting well-being and independence, elder abuse and neglect, and others.

Inpatient Hospital Treatment for Older Adults
The Montefiore Geriatrics Acute Care Service provides comprehensive, integrated primary and consultative care for older adults hospitalized at Montefiore Medical Center's Moses Division.

Outpatient Geriatric Care
An outpatient clinic for older adult patients with specialists in dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, memory loss, osteoporosis and bone density evaluation, falls assessment and prevention, and elder abuse and neglect.

Home Visiting Program
Specialized in-home primary and consultative geriatric medical care for homebound older adults.

Nursing Homes
Clinical affiliated sites for Einstein Division of Geriatrics-sponsored education and training of medical students, residents and/or post-graduate geriatrics fellows in geriatric medicine.
