Dr. Rubina Malik's clinical and research interests include osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency, falls and gait issues, hip fracture management, and care of the nursing home elderly. She is the author of numerous articles and a book chapter covering issues such as vitamin D and secondary hyperparathyroidism, alcohol consumption and bone density, and vascular intervention for heel ulcers. Dr. Malik completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and an ambulatory medicine and geriatric medicine fellowship at SUNY Stony Brook, as well as a geriatric fellowship at Einstein/Montefiore. In 1997 she joined the faculty at Einstein/Montefiore, where she is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine and Assistant Medical Director of Beth Abraham Nursing Home in the Bronx.
