Internal Medicine & Family Medicine Geriatrics Rotation

Residency education in geriatrics for internal medicine (IM) PGY 2 residents and family medicine (FM) PGY 3 residents includes a required rotation which encompasses experiences in inpatient, ambulatory, home visiting and long term care.

Additional programming includes: clinic co-precepting, conferences in the residency curriculum and clinical interactions in the acute hospital setting.

Bogaisky's Readmission Study Receives AAMC Honorable Mention
Research conducted by Dr. Michael Bogaisky initiated a unique collaboration to identify and resolve the issues leading to high hospital readmission among the skilled nursing facility patient population.
