Rotation Overview
A required rotation encompassing experiences in inpatient, ambulatory, home visiting and long-term care.

Goals and Objectives
Details of the specific geriatrics residency training objectives to optimize the quality of primary care that residents provide to older adults. Includes specific geriatrics rotation training activities to assist residents in developing expertise in patient care, medical knowledge, professionalism, interpersonal skills, practice-based learning and improvements, and systems-based practice.

Curricular Content
Listing of the areas covered in the Einstein Geriatrics residency rotation, including physiology of epidemiology of aging, cognitive impairment, interdisciplinary care, falls, incontinence, osteoporosis and fractures, pressure ulcers, common geriatric medical illnesses, geriatric pharmacology, home care, and long-term care.

Training Sites and Clinical Exposure
Residency training sites include a Bronx-based hospital, clinic, home visiting program, and long-term care facility.
