Fellowship Training Programs

Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program, Moses and Einstein Campuses
Our ACGME accredited comprehensive one-year training program prepares trainees for careers in academic medical centers as clinician-educators and for clinical practice in the ambulatory, home, nursing home or acute care setting. A second year of fellowship focusing on research is available for select applicants.

Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program, Montefiore Wakefield
Sponsored by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, this fully accredited fellowship program at the Montefiore Wakefield campus emphasizes the development of strong clinical and teaching skills, while also providing opportunities for research. Acute, ambulatory, and long-term care settings provide continuity of care for geriatric patients within a solid physician faculty framework.

Clinical Conferences, Rounds and Seminars
Topics, schedules, locations, and descriptions of Einstein geriatrics clinical conferences, geriatrics rounds, and geriatrics seminars.

Geriatrics Residency Training
Required residency rotation with clinical experience in inpatient, ambulatory, home visiting and long-term care.

Medical Student Education
Geriatrics clerkship,pre-clinical , research and extracurricular activities.

Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP)
A HRSA funded collaborative educational grant with NYU Hartford Institute of Geriatric Nursing and the Bronx community based organization –Regional Aid for Interim Needs (RAIN).
