Research mentorship is provided to CARE Program fellows by established NIDA investigators.
Additional faculty advisement outside of the scope of research mentoring is provided by the CARE Program principal investigator and co-investigators. Specifically, the principal investigator helps each fellow develop an individual learning plan, including selection of an appropriate research mentor, management of clinical, educational, and research demands, identification and achievement of specific time-dependent objectives, and plans for completing all CARE Program requirements.
