Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center provide primary care to more than 1 million individuals who live in the Bronx and lower Westchester. Our institutions serve as major referral centers for the New York Metropolitan area, northern New Jersey, southern New York State and Connecticut.
First-year fellows spend about 50% of their time on the inpatient consultation services and the remainder of their time in outpatient clinics. Attendance at specific lectures and conferences is required. Fellows divide their time between the East and West Campuses of the medical center. All teaching venues, whether inpatient or outpatient, are supervised by attending physicians.
Second-year fellows' training sites vary according to their selected continuity clinic, research project and faculty mentor arrangement.
