We maintain a highly successful basic, clinical and translational research program, primarily but not exclusively related to diabetes and obesity. The Division plays a major role in Einstein's Diabetes Research and Training Center (DRTC), an NIH-funded comprehensive program in diabetes research.
Our Division trains medical students, residents and endocrine fellows.
Our Division’s clinical services span a number of patient care sites: Montefiore Medical Center’s Moses and Einstein Divisions, and the North Bronx Hospital System including Jacobi Medical Center and North Bronx Hospital. We provide in-patient consultation, outpatient clinics, private practice, and novel programs designed to assist the primary care physician in the in-patient and out-patient management of diabetes.
