Jane Unaeze and Diana Lee Win National Awards

Dr. Jane Unaeze moved to the United States a little more than twelve years ago from Nigeria. After graduating summa-cum laude from SUNY Buffalo, she earned her MD with high honors from Harvard Medical School.
Now in her final year of residency, Dr. Unaeze has won a highly competitive preceptorship from the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Next July, she will begin a procedural fellowship in Louisville, Kentucky with Dr. Michael McCall.
Dr. Unaeze was awarded a WDS Fellowship in 2009.

Dr. Diana H. Lee, a first-year dermatology resident, is board certified in Pediatrics. She received a BA in Biochemistry from Columbia University before completing a rigorous MD-PhD program at NYU (focusing on developmental genetics).
Dr. Lee trained in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital followed by a research fellowship in dermatology at Northwestern University. An award from the Women’s Dermatologic
Society will enable her to explore pediatric dermatology with Dr. Albert Yan at the University of Pennsylvania.
