Division of Dermatology Announces New Procedural Dermatology Fellowship
The Division of Dermatology's new one-year, ACGME-approved fellowship, directed by Dr. David Ciocon, offers post-graduate training in cutaneous oncology, Mohs micrographic surgery, procedural dermatology, and cosmetic and laser medicine in state-of-the-art, CLIA-certified, outpatient ambulatory facilities.
Dr. Friedman Awarded FMF Grant for Wound-Healing Research
Dr. Adam Friedman was awarded the Feldstein Medical Foundation research award for his study of an innovative nanoparticle for the sustained release delivery of curcumin as a therapeutic for burn wound healing and multi-drug resistant skin infections.
Dr. George Han Wins Women's Dermatologic Society Award
Second-year resident George Han recently received the Women's Dermatologic Society Academic Research Award to fund work with Dr. Adam Friedman on a research study entitled "siRNA-Loaded Nanoparticles as a Novel Wound-Healing Therapeutic Strategy".
