Dr. Rahmanian received her medical degree and completed her residency in Anesthesia from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

She immigrated to the United States of America and successfully completed her Internal Medicine residency at Montclair/UMDNJ hospital. Subsequently, she attended Mount Sinai Hospital and completed her fellowship in Critical Care Medicine in 2013. Soon after, she joined the Critical Care Division at Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Rahmanian is board-certified in critical care medicine, neurocritical care, and internal medicine. She has many years of experience as an intensivist, primarily in cardiothoracic critical care. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Thoracic Society.

Ms. Revathi Nair was born and raised in New York. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a specialization in Pathobiology from Drexel University in 2012. She then moved back to New York to complete her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies with Distinction from Mercy College in the heart of Bronx, NY in 2015.

After PA school, she completed the Montefiore Critical Care Residency for Physician Assistants in 2016. Subsequently, she accepted a full-time position in the Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Moses Campus as a staff PA as well as a per-diem position at Northwell Health-North Shore University Hospital in the Trauma and Surgical Intensive Care Unit as a staff PA.

She became honored to accept a director position for the same program she graduated from in 2018., and she also serves as the Director of PA Education in Critical Care. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New York Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. She has loved teaching residents and physician assistants in her time at Montefiore and remains an advocate for the expanded use of physician assistants in all realms of critical care medicine.
